Hello this is Kurt Francom with wpXPRESS (formerly Fiddler Online) and this is one of hundreds of videos where I answer the most commonly asked questions related to small business web design. Today’s question is “Why should a small business owner use Facebook Live?”

For those of you that don’t know, Facebook Live is a live streaming feature that Facebook offers on their page, on Facebook. Basically how it works is, through your phone or your computer, you hit go live and suddenly it live-streams you or an event you are at, whatever you want to show and it allows people to comment and like and is very interactive.

Now the reason you should use this is a big one, Facebook ranks this type of content higher than others because when you put something on Facebook, that doesn’t mean that it’s going to be showed to every last person that like your page; absolutely not. Not everybody sees it. But if you do Facebook Live, more people are going to see it and it gives you great analytics that show you who is liking the page, how many views you’ve got, who is commenting and so it’s very interactive and people are responding very well to it.

The other reason you should use Facebook Live is that it’s real, it brings individuals into your business without you having to drag them or offer some type of bait for them to come in and you offer a promotion for them to experience your business but to learn more about your business.

So the way that you can use Facebook Live is just to answer questions just much like i’m doing now with this video. Hit Live and go Live and just start answering questions or showing people around your office, around your shop, whatever location, your office that you work at, and that helps them become more familiar with you and then they can come in and get more familiar with your business so, once a week, jump on Facebook Live and have your own talk show. That’s the way to go.
