wpXPRESS Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about wpXRESS and our process
How much do your Member Care Plans cost?
We have five plans to fit the level of care required for your website(s). For details, see our Pricing page.
Is there really no long-term contract?
All subscriptions are month-to-month or year-to-year. You can cancel your wpXPRESS membership at the end of any subscription term. We’ll probably be sad that we don’t get to work with you anymore, but we’ll even help you move your website.
Do you offer hosting?
wpXPRESS-managed cloud hosting is included in all of our plans except the Basic Plan, which is “Bring Your Own Hosting”. The Premium Plan includes a dedicated cloud server for your private use.
Can I request changes to my website?
Of course. That’s one of the main things we do for our members: update your site’s content. Your membership includes 1 hour per month of updates on the Premium Plan. If you are on the Basic or Essentials Plan or just need more hours, VIP Support Hours are available for purchase.
Do you need to add a staff member? Just email us their photo, name, and bio. Need a new location added? Just send over the new address and store name. Want an urgent wording change? Shoot us an email. We take care of all that kind of stuff for you.
What counts against my plan's monthly support hours?
Anything that we didn’t break, isn’t a WordPress update or maintenance, and isn’t an issue related to our hosting counts against your monthly support hours. If you need additional time, VIP Support Hours are available for puchase.
Can you integrate an email newsletter with my website?
On the Premium Plan, we can install and configure an email newsletter signup option on your website and integrate it with MailChimp.
Will you support more than one website?
Yes, we can manage all your websites. Our plans are set up for one website, but you can add as many plans as you would like. There’s even a 10% discount for your 2nd and 3rd site, and a 15% discount for sites 4+.
Do you do search engine optimization (SEO)?
While we are not SEO consultants, we install and configure the Rank Math SEO plugin* on your Premium plan site. This helps optimize your content for Google search ranking. If you already use an SEO plugin and prefer to keep it, can help you optimize its settings.
If you need more advanced SEO, such as regular content writing, link building, etc., we can refer you to some great SEO companies like Yoast SEO Academy and work with them to implement their strategy on your site.
Can I change my plan after I sign up?
Yes, we want the best fit for you or your company. So we’re happy to adjust your plan as needed. Just let us know, and we can get that taken care of for you.
How will I be billed?
We use Stripe for all of our website payments and subscriptions. Your chosen payment method will be billed monthly or annually on the same date you started your membership. You’ll also receive a receipt showing the date and amount billed. You can update your payment details via our payment portal link in our site’s footer.
What types of payment do you accept?
You can use any kind of credit or debit card processed via Stripe and ACH bank transfers.
What are your normal response and resolution times?
We almost always respond within 24hrs to your initial request. Often we’re able to complete your task before we respond. We monitor your website for downtime and error messages, and our notification that we’ve fixed a problem might be the first you’ve heard about it. Requests that take more than an hour to complete, require additional information from you, or take you over your allotted monthly support time can take longer to complete.
Does it matter what hosting provider I use?
wpXPRESS cloud hosting is included in all of our plans except the Basic Plan (“bring your own hosting”). We will work with you if you want to remain at your current provider. We will not, however, support sites hosted on GoDaddy, NameCheap, or any hosting provider owned by EIG. We’ve just found that dealing with their support for server-related issues, which occur more frequently with these providers, is more time-consuming and frustrating than it is worth for us.
How do I contact you?
The best and fastest way to reach us is through our Contact page.
